Food Republic, Pavilion

My favorite shopping mall food court would have to be Food Republic, Pavilion. The place is absolutely clean, and it has varieties of food, and filled with over 20 stalls! The place is usually full with people, especially on the weekends.

What I also like about this food court is that you can get generous and sumptuous food for under RM10! and for Muslims, you can eat happily and comfortably because most of the stalls there have 'Halal' certificate.

*Kuew Teow Cantonese-RM 6.90*

I went there last week to try their Kuew Teow Cantonese from Little Wok stall, and it was perfect, I think it was the best Kuew Teow Cantonese I've ever tasted.

Do give it a try the next time you visit Food Republic, Pavilion. I'm sure you'll like it.

Food Republic is located at the 1st Floor, same level with J.Co Donuts and Coffee!

J.Co Donuts and Coffee, Pavilion (Revisited)

J.Co Donuts and Coffee never fails to keep me coming back for more!

J.Co Donuts is actually originates from Indonesia specialising in donuts and coffee. It is owned and managed by Johnny Andrean Group and began trading in 2005 and famous for its wide variety of soft donuts and flavors. and yeapp, you can still see a long queue there!

*J.Co Baby Donuts-RM 17.15*

Guess what? J.Co have invented it's new version of donuts, Baby Donuts. I just couldn't resist it and bought one box for myself!

J.Co Baby Donuts comes with 12 flavors of donuts: Alcapone, Coco Loco, Mango, Tira Misu, Caviar Choco, Caviar Mint, Heaven Berry, Why Nut, Cheese Me Up, Mona Pizza, Oreo and Crunchy. (You can't choose other flavor, unfortunately).

Overall, I think I prefer J.Co’s donuts over Big Apple because of the originality and its thicker creamier glaze. Even then, I still found it a bit too sweet for me.

My fav would have to be Cheese Me Up and Don Mochino. Ohh, just heaven=)

Madam Kwan's, KLCC (Revisited)

I went to KLCC yesterday to meet up and have dinner with the girls from 'Kelab Hidup Leo'. As usual, we don't really know where to eat, and we ended up at Madam Kwan's. (I always loved the food there. So, yeay for me!).

The dish came so fast and the servings are quite generous.

*Ice Lemon Tea-RM 6.80*

*The Nasi Bojari-RM 21.50*

Nasi Bojari comes with a coloured nasi, drumstick fried chicken Maryland, assam prawns, half boiled egg and beef rendang. (You can change the beef rendang to curry chicken if you prefer chicken).

Nasi Bojari, Nasi Lemak and Curry Fish Head are the specialty here so don't forget to try it when you come to Madam Kwan's.

*Fried Char Kuey Teow-RM 15.40*

The Char Kuey Teow. Just simple and ordinary, but still delicious (I prefer my mum Fried Char Kuey Teow though).

If you're looking for a nice atmosphere to try out Malaysian local dishes, this is a perfect place.

The waitresses and waiters there are all smartly dressed and guests are served with glasses of strawberry scented cold water (complimentary) once their take the seats.
But the place is a little bit noisy though.
